Getting Smalltalk Extra back on a new iPhone or iPad
Smalltalk Extra is a one-time purchase that stays with your Apple ID. Sign in with the same Apple ID, tap the gear, then More Settings → Restore Purchases.
What Smalltalk Extra unlocks
Every question, plus everything we add later, for one payment. Without it you play the free questions. Every category, filter and setting is free either way.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too: ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
18+ categories
Questions for adults are hidden until you turn on Allow 18+ categories in More Settings and confirm you're 18 or older. Turn it off again to hide them.
Changing the question language
When the app offers more than one language, pick it under Questions in in More Settings. A language's questions are downloaded the first time you pick it.
Questions read out loud, and playing offline
Questions are read out loud while Read questions out loud is on in More Settings. The audio streams as you play; turn on Play offline to save it all on your device, so it works without internet.
Anonymous usage data
The app can share anonymous data about which questions work, to help us write better ones. Turn off Help improve the app by sharing anonymous data in More Settings to stop it. The privacy policy has the details.
A question that didn't land
Found a question that's wrong, awkward or just bad? Email us the question and we'll look at it. Ideas for new ones are welcome too.
